Gin of the Month for August – Kyro Napue Gin

The idea for Kyrö Distillery Company was conceived in a sauna by a group of Finnish friends who had one shared love – rye whisky. After some gentle renovations, Kyrö Distillery heated up the stills for the first time in 2014 and started distilling the world’s most northern gin (and whisky).

The rye-based Napue gin is packed full of locally foraged botanicals including sea buckthorn, cranberries and birch leaves giving it a distinct fragrance of a misty Finnish morning.

At V.SQ, we’re serving this gorgeous herbal gin with Fevertree Indian Tonic, a sprig of rosemary and a slice of grapefruit.
